Very similar to the classic German and Austrian "Bodenheozung", although Korea perfected it centuries before we did (and here the swap from fore to electrically heated water pipes went far faster of course, my grandmother's house still used fire, my parents one electricity and water, for example).
Anyway, an efficient and comfortable system, much preferable to singular "wall mounted heaters".
Although the most perfect form I ever saw had water heating pipes both in the floors and in non main weight bearing walls. That was in Switzerland.
