This celadon porcelain bamboo bottle features a design of vertical bamboo that are thoughtfully arranged to give elegance and stability to the body. The surface has no "ice cracks" because the artist wanted to revive the original smooth surface of bamboo stalks. The elements of the original that fascinated Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392) connoisseurs, the fantastic jade blue color and the graceful curves flowing from the mouth to the foot, are wonderfully revived in this work.
