A fine celadon porcelain collectors plate whose form is based on the motif of a fully bloomed lotus flower, this porcelain plate is further embellished with lotus blossoms, stalks and leaves carved in relief at the inner bottom. The lotus is a symbol of Buddha's seat as well as the Western Paradise where Buddha resides.
